The interface supports the programming languages C/C++ and Python. Thus, the Automotive Ethernet Switch can be integrated in projects with LabVIEW, among others. The SDK offers various application possibilities. The functions range from configuration for master/slave to settings for PTP. The switch has eight ports. Five of them are 100Base-T1. Two ports can be configured as 100Base-T1 or 1000Base-T1. One port is standard Ethernet for connection to a PC. The switch even has a media conversion function.
